2024/25 Volunteer Program

Newport is a volunteer club and the majority of our facilities, events and board are volunteer run.

Volunteering at Newport can take many forms; from an hour setting up for an event to a 2 year commitment as a committee lead or Director. It takes help from everyone to run a successful club.

What’s New for the 2024/2025 Season!

We will be introducing a new opportunity to deduct $25 for every hour worked from your 2026 boating fees.

HOW IT WORKS:

- Check out the list of options for volunteering below
- Complete the tasks and note the date/and task for the form below
- Complete the form below to have the hour(s) approved and credited to your 2026 Newport membership fees.

You can earn a maximum of 10 hours per membership (or $250 towards 2026 fees).

This is applicable only to Boating members, and hours can be shared among members under one membership e.g. Husband and wife can each do 5 hours).
